Quick Update
We made it safe to my Dad's house in Greenville last night. We are now in Garland at my Mom's house, we got Dalton's heart medication and are all holding up, despite the fact that we are all very very tired. We are of course very concerned about our dear friends and neighbors back home, but have stayed in touch through text messages as much as possible and everyone we've heard from is safe and well. No one has power and there have been a lot of reports of trees down in our area. We don't really have a plan. We may try and go back home tomorrow but may wait until Tuesday...just depends. We're not looking too forward to returning home to no power, but we still are anxious to get home and assess any damages, and just be home. Even though we don't own our home, it really feels like we left a big part of ourselves there and I have been pretty emotional about it. Plus, we haven't slept well in a couple of days...and I'm hormonal anyway. My heart goes out to the people on the coast who have lost everything. I try and remind myself how fortunate we are. My Mom, Dad and Step-Mom, all three brothers, my sister and countless friends have called and texted to check on us. We really appreciate all the concern and love from everyone. It's going to be a long couple of weeks until power is restored and life can begin to get back to normal. I'll do my best to update as much as possible.

Glad you guys are safe and didn't stay for all of the fun. :) Being pregnant and without power made this trip to my Mom's so awesome! Getting back to appreciating the small things.
