Technical Difficulties - Fixed (sort of)

Last night when I was posting Dalton's Happy Birthday message I ran into some computer problems. I had to re-boot a couple of times before it would let me online...not a good sign. So this morning I tried to connect my camera to the computer to upload pictures from Dalton's birthday - it was a no-go. The computer didn't even recognize my camera was plugged in...another bad sign. So I tried to connect to the internet, but good ole computer was not acknowledging any of my efforts. One more re-boot and I finally got on, but do not count on being able to connect easily again in the near future. I have a back-up computer on the way but will not have it until Sunday. Blogging may be limited for the next few days.

Having a cupcake for breakfast!

Dalton is very excited about his birthday present from Mom and Dad...he got his very first guitar! His cousins Tyler and Travis have been giving him "lessons" when we're in Dallas and so far, he's been real gentle and very intrigued with his very own big boy guitar. We'll see where it leads! He also got the Chipmunk movie, mostly because Daddy wants to see it. I think his favorite part of the day was meeting Chuck E Cheese in person after our park party was rained out :( We have rescheduled that celebration for Sunday afternoon where he'll get to party with all of his little friends (and Nana, too!). So he absolutely loves Chuck E Cheese and I think he thinks they're best friends now. One day I'll break his heart and tell him the truth about Chuck E and my former days of masquerading as the giant rodent myself!!

The pictures from Chuck E Cheese didn't turn out so good. Either they were blurry, dark or otherwise just not good (maybe it's time for a new digital camera?!?). The day was so fast paced and crazy that I didn't get as many pictures and video as I'd hoped. BUT - I did get video the next morning of Dalton practicing on his guitar...then asking me to go buy him pizza. It's pretty cute.

And I am vowing right now to get lots of pictures and video on Sunday when we have his (rescheduled) park party. The weather is supposed to stay nice all weekend - fingers crossed!
