Updates

Well, it finally happend...our computer totally crashed! Now it won't even boot up. I am really bummed out because there were videos and pictures of Dalton on it that hadn't been backed up yet. BUT we're hopeful that we'll be able to get them off with the help of a computer genius we know. For the time being, we're borrowing my mom's laptop - which I have fallen in love with. We're hoping to save up enough in the next couple of months to buy a new computer...and it will definitely be a laptop. These things are far superior to a big old klunky PC. I guess I'm secretly glad we're forced to upgrade, but it has really been a pain having such limited access to a working computer with internet access. Didn't realize how dependent we've all become on our technology until we had to go a week without it!

On another note: I went back to the doctor today and the baby is growing so much and looks great! He/she is measuring at 13 weeks, right on track! We also got to hear the heartbeat...it was 156, perfect! We took Dalton this time and also had his little buddy Anniston with us. The kids did pretty well, but with all the chaos we forgot to get our pictures! That's okay though, I'm going back in 2 weeks and will get them then. Dr. J got onto me because I keep losing weight. Over 10 lbs. since my first visit 8 weeks ago. It's frustrating because I AM eating what I can when I can and feel like I'm doing much better, but I guess it's not enough. So she gave me 2 weeks to gain some weight. If I lose anymore she said she'll put me in the hospital on fluids until I start gaining...yuck!! I think that's a little extreme. It's not like I didn't have 10 lbs. (or more!) to lose when I got pregnant!! But whatever - I'm not going to stress about it. I'll just do my best not to lose another pound in two weeks...bring on the ice cream! We also booked our appointment for a Level 2 diagnostic sonogram in 5 weeks, that's when the boy/girl mystery will be answered...can't wait!!
