- It's nice to say: "I can't believe you're so far along...you're hardly showing at all!"
- Very polite to say: "Here ma'am, please take my seat"
- And completely appropriate to ask: "What can I get you for dessert?"
- Please, please, please give her the right of way while walking through the grocery store, parking lot, mall, etc. Especially if you're on wheels of some sort and she is not.
- Always offer her something to eat and/or drink. There is a 99.9% chance she's starving or parched at any given moment.
- Tell her you're so excited about the upcoming birth of her baby and that you know how beautiful her baby will be.
And after baby is born:
- Go visit her and the baby! Of course make sure they are up for visitors first...but go if you can.
- Tell her how beautiful her baby is, even if his/her face still looks a little squished up.
- Offer to get her something to eat/drink...she's probably still hungry and thirsty most of the time.
- Tell her you look forward to babysitting anytime she needs a break! :)
