The last two weeks we have had absolutely beautiful weather here! Me, Dalton, and his new playmate Anniston have been spending a lot of time outside! I started keeping Anniston two weeks ago. She comes to play Monday through Friday and we are having a lot of fun with her around. We make it a point to get out of the house at least once a day. We have our playgroups on Mondays and Thursdays, the Boxes class on Wednesday, and so many cool parks around here that we never seem to run out of stuff to do! I bought a used double stroller and the kiddos love going for walks around the neighborhood, or going to the mall for a walk and to play at the Big Tree.

Trying to pick that perfect pumpkin
Anniston & Dalton
Dalton is supposed to be a pirate for Halloween; we bought him an adorable little costume and he looks really cool in it...one little problem - he refuses to wear it! It's the same way with socks. He thrashes his body around crying and yelling "no" at me over and over again. If I finally do get it on him, he lays on his back wailing and pulling at the costume (or socks) until he gets everything off that he wants off. It's crazy!
More exciting news: We bought a training potty and some pull-ups and are getting ready to start potty training! No rush, just thought it was time to put the thought in Dalton's head, so far he just uses it as a step stool to get to the sink so he can brush his teeth...he's obsessed with oral hygene.
Nick and I spent the weekend cooking out, hot-tubbing, relaxing and enjoying the perfect weather. Nick loves having the top off of his Jeep and cruising around...Dalton loves it too and I have to say, I don't hate it either! Life has been good, calm, and all around happy...guess God is giving us a little calm before the storm as the holidays rapidly approach!
