Slowing down long enough to hurry up and reflect

It started in October...

...I have a baby GIRL! We're moving. I let somebody down. I realize how quickly our country is headed to Hell in a hand-basket. LOVE the new house. It breaks my heart to say good-bye to my friends. Happy Thanksgiving. I let somebody down. My Jeep is broken and we're stranded in the middle of nowhere. Moving sucks. I miss my babies. Macy seems to be getting sick. Macy is very very sick. Trying really hard to see God. My house is still in boxes, my baby girl is in ICU, my little boy is so resilient. No furniture. The pool needs help. I let somebody down. No time or money to buy Christmas presents, but somehow it gets done. Macy comes home just in time for Christmas. My house is still in boxes and everyone is here for Christmas. Nick gets sick, on Christmas, so I play hostess alone. Happy New Year? I let somebody down. What happened to Aunt Marsha? She's gone...so suddenly. Wish I made it to Oklahoma more. Meemaw is getting worse, Grandad too. Money is getting tighter and tighter. I need a job. In this market? I let somebody down. I find a job. How am I going to leave my babies everyday? I just turned 30. It was so nice to feel so loved and to see my dear friends...what a party. Macy gets sick so much. Off to work, and again, I let somebody down. Nick is out of town. Breakfast, baths, get dressed, out the door to Jammi's, work work work, back to Jammi's for the kids, home, dinner, pjs, prayers and lullabys, good-night. Lather, rinse, repeat. Nick is back. I'm too tired to talk, but welcome home. Meemaw just passed away. What a beautiful legacy she leaves behind. I wish it didn't take a funeral to get us all together, seems that's just how it goes. Back to work, Nick gone and back again. And again...I let somebody down...

...and the story never ends

Wow, isn't that the truth! We all need to slow down and reflect! Despite the ups and downs, the unhappy and hard times, life is so precious and God is so good!
