I'm Back!

Sorry for the extended sabbatical from blogging. Once we got Macy home and well, and survived Christmas & New Years, tragedy struck our family yet again. My dear Aunt Marsha passed away suddenly last week after a massive stroke. She was my Daddy's only sibling and so incredibly loved by our whole family. We spent a few days in Oklahoma City for her services and to spend time with our family. Now we are home again, and although our lives must go on, the sadness remains and is so real.

While in OKC, we got to spend some time catching up with my siblings and their significant others. That time was so wonderful for all of us to have, I just hate that it was under such sad circumstances.

Dalton and Macy are doing great. Macy is now seeing a Pulmonologist as her lungs still struggle to completely recover from her illness. She is on multiple medications and will receive monthly shots to help keep her healthy and RSV-free for the rest of cold & flu season.

Nick is enjoying his work and is slowly (but surely) finding the balance between work and home, which is not easy to do when you work out of your home! He's doing amazing and I am so proud of him.

After three years of full-time Mommy duty I feel like it's time for me to return to work. So, despite the job market being difficult to break into at this time, I am job hunting! There's no way I could even THINK about going back to work full-time if it weren't for the WONDERFUL child care provider we have. Jammi is like a back-up Mommy to my kiddos and I know they will love their time with her. Don't know what we'd do without you, James!!

Here are a few pictures for your viewing pleasure. Kind of random, but that's been our life lately...
