It was our first full winter back in North Texas and what a winter we had! We had FOUR kind of significant snow events. I can not explain how excited all four of us were every single time it snowed. All I know is that, if we had still lived in Houston while DFW was experiencing all the beautiful snow, I would have cried...every time. We had some pretty good snow at the beginning of Decemeber, then again on Christmas Eve! I don't remember if that's ever happened before in my lifetime. It made for an extra special Christmas (but that's for another post!). The other two times were mid-February and March. It was cold, and messy, but so much fun and absolutely breathtaking to look at.
