Staying Cool

Today, Anniston & Karyn came over to play after the kids cooled off in the Market Street fountains. Dalton did his famous head bang and I think hurt himself pretty good. I was checking the bump and comforting him when Anniston came over and kissed his forhead. I tried to hold in a laugh when Dalton fought back a smile and blushed like I've never seen! He decided to man up pretty quickly after that and get back to having fun.

Here they are on a not so violent day...Dalton & Anniston cooling off in a bucket. They had a baby pool to play in, but the water got hot and dirty so they found a bucket and cooled off like kids in the sticks do.

These are giant bubbles that Nana bought him, but it's more fun to pretend like it's a sword.
...or a baseball bat and he's on deck.
Even though it doesn't count as cooling off because it makes him so sweaty, Aunt Jammi's trampoline is one of Dalton's absolute favorite things these days.


His favorite way to stay cool? Going shirtless. As often as I'll let him for as long as I'll let him. He's his Daddy's boy.
