Fall Festival Fun

Fall is in full swing and the festivals are beginning. Last Saturday we took Dalton and met up with some friends at a Fall Festival at Montgomery College. They had free face painting, food, bounce houses, rock climbing and (Dalton's favorite) a petting zoo! It was absolutley beautiful weather and we certainly took advantage of it.



This weekend we are taking Dubbs to a Pumpkin Patch for pictures, more bouncing, more food...just more Fall Fun! Every weekend this month there is a Fall Festival of some sort on the calendar. Hopefully we will get some cute pictures with the pumpkins, they will most definitely be posted if we do!

Sunday, we bought a new piece of "big boy" furniture for Dalton's room. No more changing table or baby stuff in there...It is now a place for him and his buddies to play and have fun. Of course the crib is still in there until he's old enough for a big boy bed, but we've tried to make it look as cool as possible. Anyway, Dalton was adament about "helping" Nick put the cube together. He was very upset that we wouldn't let him hammer on things...just more evidence that he is about as boy as it gets!

If you look closely at Dalton's face you can see how he's fussing at Nick that we wouldn't let him just put the thing together by himself...he's sure he could do it!
