Another weekend has passed and it sure was a fun one! Friday evening we filled up Dalton's baby pool and let him have at it. He has discovered the joy of going back and forth from his sandbox to his pool (and vice versa). It sure made for one dirty kid, and a very dirty bathtub afterwards, but watching him have so much fun was definitely worth it. Bedtime came early for Dubbs (as usual) and Nick and I decided to cookout. We were joined by Ben and my sister Christy (which was a last minute surprise since she drove here all the way from Florida just to hang out for the weekend!)
Stayed up too late, of course, then woke up early on Saturday to head north for a visit with the Aledo crew. Here is a picture of Dalton giving his cousin Payton "sweet kisses"...
We took all the kids swimming at Bruce and Penny's in the afternoon, mom made her famous roast and potatoes, and we enjoyed a little Soup. Later, Ethan and Erika joined us and we played games and laughed until we cried at our answers on Apples to Apples. Then broke out the Trivial Pursuit 90's edition and put ourselves to sleep...the game is just too tame. Anyway, we had a great time, but Sunday morning it was time to head back home. Before leaving town, we went by to see Ethan and Erika's new house in Ft. Worth...absolutely beautiful!! The perfect house for just about any type of get-together there is. We can't wait to help break in the pool and hot tub, congratulations to the Junes! Now here we are starting another week. Nick is in Austin again today and I have an appointment to get to. More later!!
