Setting boundaries for the blog

I recently decided to take a break from blogging. Not sure if this was really a choice, or just the result of something having to "give" with all the demands of life. After my sabbatical, I have decided to return. But I will not be writing much. The purpose of this blog is to share pictures and brief stories so that our friends and family can keep up with us, no matter where they live. That has always been its purpose, so I am trying to prioritize it appropriately.

I'm sure I will miss a lot of important events and I'll probably get really far behind sometimes. And my blog will not be the wittiest, prettiest or most interesting to most. That's because this blog is not for most. It's for those who don't care how often it is updated, or made-over. But it is for those who love me and my family enough to appreciate the updates, however few and far between they may be. Those people understand that the time I am NOT spending working on the blog, I AM spending loving and caring for my precious babies and wonderful husband. If the blog ever becomes a distraction that causes me to be a poor steward of my time again...it is history!
