Pictures of Ike's Damage

As promised! Most of these are in and around our neighborhood, others were taken around various parts of The Woodlands. About 85% of our community is still without power! The schools in our neighborhood are still closed. Four houses down from us there is a tree down on a power line so we are one of only a handful of homes in our neighborhood that has power. And, yes...we know we are VERY blessed! I'm sure you've seen plenty of footage on the damage in downtown Houston and on Galveston Island...here's what it looked like closer to home for us:

By the way - I have a good excuse as to why it took so long to get these pictures up! I caught Dalton's tummy bug and was sick Thursday through Saturday. I feel much better than I did, but haven't felt great ever since. Maybe it's just the final weeks of pregnancy taking their toll on me. I'm quesy, so tired and sore all over...and very ready for baby to come out!! Only 27 more days until my due date!
