Cousins

Last weekend my Mom came down and brought three of my brother's four kids with her for a visit. It was so much fun having the kids here and...as I've mentioned before, Dalton loves having his cousins around. It was a big job for Nana, but she survived and everyone had such a great time. Thanks, Mom for making the effort! I think it was well worth it!!

They arrived Saturday afternoon. Nick cooked on the grill for dinner and the kids had fun playing. There was a trip to Target for toys, Sports Authority for new school shoes and Wal-Mart just because. Then the kids settled down on their air mattresses and watched Peter Pan before falling asleep:


Sunday morning Nana took all four kids to Burger King for breakfast and to play. It's Nana and Dalton's tradition when she's here, but it was so cool to him to share it with his cousins this time!

After a little down time, we loaded everyone up in the Jeep and headed to Conroe to the Incredible Pizza Company. And it really was incredible! We'd never been there before, but what a cool place. If you have kids and there is a location near you, you have to try it out! Everyone's favorite part was the Mini-bowling. How fun for the kids and they didn't even have to wear dirty bowling shoes!!
Dalton has really been into Toy Story lately and he was so excited when we got there. He kept telling Nick, "Daddy, we're at Pizza Planet!!" And he has asked to go back there every day since!





We won a few ticket and Nana used them to get the kids a boomerang. Then we returned home for a good night's sleep. Monday, Nick went back to work so my Mom and I took the kids to a local pool where they were in heaven!! After playing in the water for a couple of hours, it was time for them to get back on the road home. What a great visit, but it was too short...at least for Dalton. Come back soon guys...we miss you already!!
