We found out before the sun came up this morning that Dalton is going to have a little sister. Nick and I asked him the other day if he wanted a brother or sister, he said, "I want a sister!" So his wish came true. I have not been able to stop smiling and my face hurts...Nick is happy, but admittedly scared to death! I think he needs some support from other Daddies of little girls...maybe they offer a group at the Y :) His first reaction was happy, then he asked the sonographer "Are you sure it's a girl?"
Here are a few pictures from the ultrasound, I'll do my best to describe what you're looking at.
If you tilt your head to the right to see this one, you'll see her sweet smiling face. I know it's a little alien looking right now, but they all are.
Here's the proof that it's a girl...no little boy parts.
Her feet. They are crossed at the ankles, what a little lady!
Once again, tilt your head to the right and you'll see her arms and hands covering her face. Her hands are together in a praying position...so sweet!
This is her profile. She is laying face down, head to the right, bum and legs to the left.

team palmer could not be more thrilled with your news!!! it was an awesome thing to wake up to..cant imagine how sweet it was for you guys! A NIECE! i cannot wait! hmmm..now we just have to think of a name. ;)
