Not So-Super Bowl, but we still had a good time!

Okay, okay so I know it was arguably the biggest Superbowl upset in NFL history and that the last couple of minutes were pretty shocking and exciting. But other than that, the game was just not that great. And for one very obvious reason, we just couldn't get pumped up about it, no matter how hard we tried. We bought 7 squares in the pool, made some sausage dip and joined some friends to watch the game, but when it came down to it, our hearts just weren't in it. Nick, Dalton and I wore our Cowboys gear out of loyalty (and protest), and also because we wanted to wear them just one more time before next season.

On the upside...we had a great time with our friends, and making a few new ones too! Elizabeth came up with a very interesting new way to make Pina Coladas - they turned out fabulous! We had lots of yummy snacks, our favorite beverages and pizza. And Dalton's favorite part? BALLOONS!! They had balloons blown up all over the house and that kept Dalton occupied and happy for the entire evening!
